Job Description:


The responsibilities for the position include: General office duties, Billing, Filing, Answering phone calls. Update the order board. Submit information to vendors via the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or Customer AP accounts payable email.Matching Sales Orders for deliveries, invoices and billing purposes. Research files for Proof of Delivery (PODs) to assist the Accounting Department during their annual audit and as needed for the purpose of customer invoices and collections. Scan internal documents in the Management Software Program - Docuware in order to manage and store all documents electronically. Assist the Document Control Unit as needed, preparing all required documents ready for Customs validation. Processing the invoices and Customs 7512 Form using the Electronic In-Bond filing (QP). Participate as needed in inventories scheduled. Overtime will be required.

Experience and Skills:


Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

Knowledge of Import/Export paperwork and Customs Documentation.

High level of Customer Service and organization skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Ability to multi-task and problem solve under stressful/high pace environment.


High School Diploma or GED and 2 years Freight Forwarding experience OR in related field OR a combination of experience and education. Experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and with JD Edwards Software preferred
