Job Description:




Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM



The Quality Control Lead assists the Production Supervisor in coordinating activities of workers engaged in inspecting, and repackaging of electronics and oversees the Quality Assurance team in the development and administration of internal and external regulations. Assists with the identification and development of required procedures and processes related the quality system. Creation of standard operating procedures for all products, for different countries. Confers with supervisor, and reviews production schedules to determine quantity and parts to be inspected.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, international and company specific regulations related to the quality of product and to the proper performance of day-to-day activities. Responsible for creating Purchase Work Orders (PWO’S) and send them to Customer Service for review and record purposes. Prepare and maintain Quality records for review of completeness and accuracy to meet both internal and external expectations. Document nonconforming material; clearly and accurately, for inventory purposes. Assist with the actual labor and manufacturing of projects as time permits/as needed. Assists in setting and leads execution of short-term objectives for assigned work group/team.Coordinates communication of new procedures and provides instruction for inspection and testing of components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Participate in team meetings as required (safety, problem solving, etc). Creates and maintains test data, performs testing and report results to ensure a consistent and high level of quality for all products. Responsible for submitting a Quality Control monthly report. Create all labels for all reworks according to market’s requirements. Assist in the continuous growth of the department.




Experience and Skills:


Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly; Knowledge of quality control concept and practices; excellent verbal and written skills necessary in English and Spanish

Ability to communicate effectively with others usingthe spoken word in English and Spanish

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures

Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task

Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work

Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 lbs

Ability to work overtime and weekends during busy season is a must


Computer Skills:

Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Strong knowledge of Windows Paint Application required.

Experience using handheld scanning devices (R F Smart)



High School Diploma or Equivalency and 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area are required. Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in related field preferred OR a combination of education and experience in related field. Must be Bi-lingual (English/Spanish); Formal training in Quality Control and understanding of inventory control a plus but not necessary.
