Job Description:

The responsibilities for the position include: the development and oversight of the Carisam Quality Management System (QMS) to include compliance to the current John Middleton Quality Agreement (JMC). He/She will interact closely with Carisam internal department heads as well as our subcontractor La Aurora, to ensure compliance to the applicable JMC Quality Agreement and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. Responsible for all quality related audits at Carisam-Samuel Meisel and La Aurora (LASA). Lead the ALT Quality and Management Meetings, Monitor process controls, ensures compliance with established internal and external control procedures; analyze and establish quality work processes including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. Additional duties as assigned by the Manager

  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in English and Spanish

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Quality preferred or a combination of education and/or experience of 4-6 years in related field.

  • Must be Bi-lingual (English/ Spanish)

  • Must be able to travel as needed both within the United States and Internationally

  • Ability to supervise other people

  • Formal Training in Quality Assurance or equivalent experience
